A technique that creates the greatest volume on the outer line of the shape and is known as “one-length.” Using the natural fall of the hair, it is cut without lifting or redirecting, and the sections are aligned parallel to the desired direction of the line.
GRADUATION
A technique used to create an angle on a specific part of the head to achieve added volume. The angle is created by cutting the hair from shorter to longer lengths, starting from the hairline and moving toward the top of the head.
Layering
A technique used to reduce the weight of the hair and create the most movement among the three techniques.
